Design and Build

This model stands out for its titanium-based construction and very slim profile. It is one of the thinnest ThinkPad devices in its class and supports 360-degree rotation for laptop, tent, stand, and tablet use. Build quality is solid, with good chassis rigidity. The compromise is that upgrade options are limited: storage is accessible, but memory and Wi-Fi are soldered.

Display, Audio, and Webcam

The 13.5-inch 3:2 IPS touchscreen is one of the strongest parts of this laptop. The panel is bright (around 450 nits), has good contrast, and is comfortable for work documents and web content. Color coverage is high for sRGB use, and PWM flicker is not reported. Audio from the two speakers is balanced but not especially loud. The 720p webcam is functional and includes an IR sensor for quick Windows Hello sign-in, but it is basic for a premium price range.

Keyboard and Touch Input

The keyboard keeps the ThinkPad layout style and includes spill resistance and backlighting. Key travel is shorter than on many classic ThinkPad models, but feedback remains clear for long typing sessions. The red TrackPoint is accurate, and the touchpad surface is smooth. Fingerprint login works quickly and reliably.

Performance for Daily Work

With the Intel Core i7-1160G7 and Iris Xe graphics, the ThinkPad X1 Titanium Yoga is well suited to office apps, heavy browser multitasking, video calls, and media playback. It is not designed for demanding gaming or workstation-level rendering. The 16 GB RAM and 1 TB SSD provide a responsive experience for business workloads.

Ports, Connectivity, and Battery Behavior

Physical connectivity is minimal but modern: two Thunderbolt 4 ports, a combo audio jack, and a Nano-SIM slot (in LTE-ready configurations). Wireless options include Wi-Fi 6, Bluetooth 5.1, and 4G LTE. The 44.5 Wh battery delivers practical mobility: around a full workday in lighter mixed use and shorter runtime under high brightness or heavy load. Under stress, the thin chassis warms up, but reported temperatures stay within manageable limits, and fan noise remains moderate.

Verdict

The Lenovo ThinkPad X1 Titanium Yoga is a premium business 2-in-1 for users who value a slim convertible design, strong screen quality, and dependable everyday productivity. Its main strengths are portability, display quality, and enterprise-friendly features such as IR login and optional LTE. The key compromises are limited ports, no memory upgrades, and a webcam that feels basic for the price segment.
